Twelvizm - What?

I've always thought that the way I do things have been a little different. Maybe it's because I'm left-handed, an only child, part Polish, part Indian (feather, not dot). Who knows? It doesn't matter really. What matters is what I do with that different perspective.

Twelvizm is the word that I use to describe the work I do. It is all my "ism". The four elements music, photo, motion and design are things that I take the same design approach to. Context, composition, color, layout, lighting, sound space, emotion, mood, is taken into account. I consider its reason for being created, who it is created for and what I have to do to create it.

Up until a couple years ago I made things like an only child, selfishly. It was all for me, and I really didn't care about the views and opinions of those exposed to it. But, now I see a flaw in that. What's the point of making things, if not for the people effected by them? I have to say, that this change in philosophy has changed my work for the better. I get more response from the work, which in turn inspires me to do more.
